She also was able to do some basic addition, subtraction and multiplication!
You can see in the above picture that she just put two 1o blocks together and said they equaled 20. Then, I flipped one over to represent that we were subtracting 10 from 20 and she said it equaled 10. I was so excited! These are awesome blocks!
Plus, she made her own Letters U See set:
We both highly recommend these blocks. We didn't purchase the curriculum to go with the blocks, as we wanted to see if it was something the kids would get into.

This is our first year using Math-U-See and I absolutely love it! As you know my daughter has Down Syndrome and really needed the bonus of hands on materials but I believe I would use it with typical children too. The workbooks are great and she loves watching the instructional video for each lesson as well. I am very pleased with it all and will use it again next year!

How nice, those blocks very neat! So hard to get stuff like that now from over here. Just wondering, do you have your daughter play with soma cubes?
