Saturday morning, we opened the garage to head out to the store only to be greeted by tons of wasps, bees and yellow jackets! Right then and there I decided there was no way I could spend the day outdoors. It was also in the upper 80's.
After waiting for the 2 wasps to get out of our garage so we could close the door, we went to Walmart.
I bought this:

However, I wish they had some of this at Walmart:
Seriously, this lady has to be on something to be able to just lay out in the grass. Especially with her eyes closed!
This Spring seems to be really bad as far as bugs go. I never remember seeing this amount of bees, wasps and yellow jackets in April. Usually, we get the aggressive ones in September. However, not this year. They are everywhere. My Mom had a wasp in her bathroom yesterday and my sister and I saw a man kill a yellow jacket INSIDE the mall on Friday.
What's going on this year? Is this happening where you are too? Or do I just need to move?

Thanks for your sweet comments on my table and chairs project. I have no Ativan, which is why you'll notice that my husband had to finish the project. I was bored to tears by the third day! lol!!

Ooh~I don't like wasps and bees, but then again, who really does?
Fun blog you have!
I didn't see a single bee (poor little guys) but I saw tons of wasps and yellow jackets as i was planting my garden. YUCKOCITY!
Moving is always fun! THough I don't really recommend that. ;)
We too have had bad cases of yellow jackets, in Virginia. My son was stung badly by them once(when he was only 2). Hopefully that trap works for you.
Oh no, it's bad here too! Hubby and I were just complaining about how bad the things are this year...we need to go buy one of the thingies you bought.
The mosquitos were out here last night - that's very early for us - our grass isn't even green yet!
We have several bugs too!!!!!
