ABC and 123's Prize Picnic

I am so excited to be participating in ABC and 123's Prize Picnic.

ABC and 123 is an awesome resource for families and homeschoolers. I've been reading it since it first started and have found lots of great ideas! So, if you are visiting from their Mr. Linky party:

Welcome to my blog!

I am Jenny, wife to David for almost 8 years and a stay at home and homeschooling Mom to Abby. She just turned 5 and we are finishing up our first year of homeschooling...Preschool!

I started this blog to document our homeschooling and family adventures. It has been great to keep a record of what we do and be able to look back on Abby's stages of learning.

One of my favorite posts is this interview with Abby. I will have to do this interview again in a few months and see what she says. It's hilarious.

Another favorite is when Abby wrote the letter B for the first time. It is so awesome to watch your child learn and develop skills. I was so happy about that letter B! LOL!

We are really looking forward to homeschooling Abby for kindergarten in the Fall, but for now it's time to enjoy Summer!

Honestly, I'm not a picnic type of gal. As I recently posted here, I am not one for grass and bugs. I do however like picnic food and would love to eat it...INDOORS.

Abby can't wait to go swimming this Summer and she really enjoys going to the park.

We don't have any major Summer plans. We go on our family vacation in September, when most people are back in school.

What Summer plans do you have?

Head over to ABC and 123 for more Summer Prize Picnic posts!

Hi! Stopping by from Prize Picnic-nice to meet you! Your daughter is beautiful and I love the picture of all of you together. My girls would spend their day at the park if they could :)

Jenny,
Thanks for linking to the picnic today. I enjoyed reading your intro, even though I have been reading about you and your adventures for some time now. I love your family picture at the top. Do people think Abby looks like her Daddy? In that picture I see it:)
I had to laugh about you eating your picnic food indoors. I am kind of a wimp about eating outside if there are ANY bugs around me or the table. If I'm going to eat those calories I would like to enjoy them w/o swatting around at the unwanted guests:)

You are a cute little family! Congrats on finishing the year of homeschooling! How long do you plan to continue?

I love being at home with my children, though some days I wish I could run away...and back to work, but that wouldn't be right for me.

It's nice to meet you! We did that interview too, and I think I'll be doing it every year.

Nice to meet you. I am going to try an interview with my 4 year old soon. Thanks for the great idea. I love your blog layout. So spring-like.

loved looking at your blog. This summer picnic will be fun. I agree on the indoor picnics. We have a 3 year old that cannot go outside if it is much over 75 degrees due to rare skin disorder. Indoor activities ahve become a staple in our household.

Well it certainly seems like Internet Explorer is the problem because I had no trouble loading with Firefox. I remembered why I don't like it, my blog doesn't load right on it. Brad moved the title on mine because otherwise it ran into the bird and somehow that messed up the display on Firefox. I am loving how it spell checks my comments, however. May have to switch with him and look into fixing my blog so it looks right on here!

Thanks for linking up, I love the sliding picture you captured a great expression on Abby's face - oh the joys of childhood!

Hi Jenny! I just found your blog through WW, I think and I'm lovin' it! I have three little ones of my own and I've been going back 'n forth about homeschooling. You're the first that I've found to have a child the same (almost) age as mine.

Do you have a schooling program that you follow?
