Awhile back, I was clicking through Works For Me Wednesday posts and clicked on a Camera Strap Cover Tutorial from Tidy Mom. I commented that it was a great idea and I was so excited, because I just got my camera for Mother's Day.
Well, it turns out Cheryl (Tidy Mom) did too! We even found out we lived near each other and her daughter was a student in my cousin's class last year.
We also found out that we were registering for the same Nikon D40 class at a local camera store.
Today was the class and I got to meet Cheryl. She even made me my own camera strap!
Isn't it beautiful!Unfortunately, neither one of us thought to take a picture of us. How silly! We had our cameras and everything. LOL!
The class was very informational. It was the fastest 2 hours ever.
It was nice to meet you, Cheryl and Happy 23rd Anniversary!

The class was specifically about the Nikon D40, so I'm not sure how to share the tips to work for other cameras.
Basically, it was about all of the buttons, features and menus on the D40 and how to use them together for optimal pictures.
The good thing is, the instructor said there is nothing wrong with staying in Auto mode. The pictures will be awesome still!

It was so fun getting to meet you and your cousin Jenny!! I'm still miffed at why we didn't think to take a picture! LOL I think our heads were spinning from all the info we got in the class! LOL
I took lots of pictures Sunday out at the tigers, some on Auto, some on "P" - you can see a difference in my pictures - now I have to go look at which ones were on "P" I'll be curious to see if they were the better pictures! - it was SOOOO hot though, we didn't stay too long, so I'll have to go out for more pictures another day.
Did the strap cover fit? did you mess with trying to get it on yet? LOL
