You may remember that just 2 months ago we had to have our 17 year old cat, Ditto put down. He had gotten very sick suddenly. Well today our 15 year old cat, AbyCat passed away also.
She was such a sweet girl. She didn't play fetch, but loved silk flowers. We'd leave a few scattered around and out of nowhere, we'd hear her cry as she brought us her "kill". Sometimes in the middle of the night! LOL! It was always so funny to see her bring us a pretend flower.
AbyCat has sure had her share of health problems over the years: Asthma, skin problems, an eye ulcer, frequent UTI's, kidney stones (which we did surgery for), a bladder stone and I'm sure there's more that I can't think of right now. She was a cat with more than 9 lives.
I think that made today a bit easier than when we had to put Ditto down. Every time we took AbyCat to the vet, I wondered if it was her last. However, she always popped back! I knew when I took her this time that she wouldn't be coming home with us. I had Abby tell her goodbye.
The vet thinks she may have had some type of intestinal cancer. Poor thing. Honestly, she hasn't been herself since Ditto passed away. I'm just glad they are together again.

I'm sorry Jenny. It's so hard to say goodbye to pets. How is Abby handling it? I remember that she did okay last time.

I am so sorry for your loss Jenny. I know even though you knew she wasn't well, it is still difficult.
Im so sorry for the loss of both of your kitties.. It's always hard to loose a pet and I understand how you feel. But at least she has her buddy again and there wont be any more problems or worries she's forever happy and healthy.
Thank stinks. Sorry for your back to back loss. At least they are together again probably playing and having a nice time together. Keep your head up.

Oh Jenny, I am so, so sorry. I truly am. I hope you and Abby--and Dave too--are handling things well and are at peace knowing Ditto and AbyCat are together again, and I know they are, and are happy about it too.
