This past Saturday, my Mom's work had a Purina Family Fun Day. The FREE event was held at Purina Farms and highlighted their new Event Center.
Heather waited in line with Matthew for almost an hour for him to get his face painted. As soon as Abby saw he was going to get his done, she wanted her's painted as well. I didn't feel like standing in line that long and actually found a shorter line for face painting on the other side of the event hall. After about a 20 minute wait, Abby got her face painted like a mouse. Matthew is a puppy. Can you tell which child had the professional make up artist? LOL!
We all had so much fun! They had a lunch buffet, carnival games, bounce houses, inflatables, carnival rides, dog shows and more...all FREE!

This really does sound like a lot of fun Jenny. I LOVE both of the face paintings, and Andy is SO big, and still so very adorable!
Meant to say below, I cannot believe they did not put you and Abby in a group with the other homeschoolers!! Shame on them!
The pictures are great. Kids don't care how professional the face painting looks, as long as they have paint on their faces!!!!

Purina Farms is a fun place. I have not been there in years. Sounds a lot more elaborate now. No wonder my dog food keeps going up in price!

The girl who did Matthew's face and Andy's nose used professional stage make-up and sponges and the girl who did Abby and Holly's face used UNDILUTED craft paint!!!
Oh, and you should warn people if they go to Purina Farms there will be no ferris wheel, face painting, rides or any of that because it was a one day only employee celebration of the opening of the Events Center.
That person who commented on dog food prices going up made me think of that ;)
I think family days for big companies is fun.... we saw one for Tylenol the other day!!

So cute! I picked up some face paint crayons from our local school supply store the other day & we painted cheeks at my daughter's birthday party. It always seems to be a hit, doesn't it? (no matter how professional, thankfully)
