This looks like a goofy pic, but there's a story behind it. The other night while showering, I was thinking of something annoying a lady said to me while we were out. I was obsessing over what I wish I would have said and how rude she was. I grabbed the soap and noticed there was some on my finger. I looked and there it was...a cute little soap heart.
It may sound hokey, but I felt like God was trying to tell me to let it go.
Now the funny part: I thought it was so cute that I wanted to take a picture of it. I finished my shower, using one hand to shave, wash my hair and grab the camera before I messed it up. LOL!
Dave looked at me like I was nuts when I came out of the shower with my towel asking for the camera. ROTF!

I'm impressed that you were able to do all that with one hand! LOL!
When I first saw the picture I actually thought that you had gotten a scrape that looked like a heart and I was pretty amazed... but that's really cute that you have soap with little hearts in it!
Awww, this just makes me smile! And I've asked for the camera in funny situations too. Though, I think my family is so used to it now, that they don't even bat an eye! :)
I love that story! And the bokeh is AMAZING! I am so impressed! You recognized a sign when God spoke to your heart and you have some mad photography skills. :-)
Merry Christmas!
LOL! And that's something I would have done, too!
This is the best story ever. Isn't it amazing how God uses even the smallest things?
I have to laugh b/c it sounds like something I would totally do!
I got goose bumps reading that! It truly is amazing!
And, I am laughing about the whole idea of the shower and asking for the camera!!! Funny! So glad you captured that though! The picture is great.
Such a cute little heart!

What a great story! And wonderful to have it captured on film!
That is such a cool story! It's a perfect little heart!
That's such a super cool story and I'm impressed that you were able to shower and still keep the little heart intact!!
I love your photography...the little heart shows up perfectly on your finger, with the blurred lights in the background! It's beautiful (and the message behind it is lovely, too)
so cute! love that you saved the cute heart and such a great photo of it. xo
Jamie and Hanna are used to odd camera experiences here with me too--they don't even blink now when I ask for it :-).
Jenny, this is such a sweet story. Isn't is amazing how God works and all the ways that He manages to touch our hearts?
Thank you for sharing this. I enjoyed reading it and always need to read things like this to help me out in my life too.
